I remember in primary school, one of the buses we used to get driven around in for excursions, weekly swimming lessons, etc.

(local bus company)

It was super loud with the engine under a massive cover up the front next to the driver.

I never knew what it was at the time... but vividly remember the racket it made.

I've since learnt, it would've been a 2 stroke commer knocker engine or similar! :o

Only a tad of gray is left ,hey does anyone know about the colours of the factory springs like does red mean intake and green exjaust or it doesnt matter

Seems like they didn't get painted very well from the factory?

Or maybe the cast iron was already rusty, and the paint flaked off over time?

I did my time on buses, and have worked in other shops since that have also had some old relics still chugging away every day. It's amazing what some companies will do to save a buck

351w flywheels were 164 I believe. So one off a 80s/90s F150 manual would do.

Or get a clevo one balanced to 50. Starting to be not so simple now huh?
