XF 85 GHIA EFI CROSSY REBUILD

If the bearings are stock, they will have a tiny FORD oval embossed on the back of each bearing shell,
along with a date code and the size.

The head gasket will also have a FORD wording embossed on it, plus a date code.

yep they have the oval dave,maybe a bit hard to see in pictures,im looking on e bay now for an item i have bought before its a factory replacement timing chain by endurotec cause the one thats on the engine is very sloppy,they are about $38.00 but i cant find em .

he even e mailed the docket for the engine in 93 ,was $500 back then.

Yep got 1 more out

might work, 
spray enough of it on the back of the pistion and the cold might shrink it and break the rust seal?

it just so has it that i have another matching std size piston and rod combo identical to this one out of ryans blue xe engine ,if the pistons are too far gone.

All pistons are out and 1st clean is looking ok,im gunna go after lunch to borrow a hone to clean the bores a bit and grab a can of black engine paint

Yeah weird could be the head wasnt taken off and couldnt fish some of the broken lifter out cause the head bolts were like new never touched

hey thanks for that but i found 1 on friday yep 44 bucks

Nah just my usual degrease and scrub all it needs for a basic kero rebuild if i start farming work out the end profit of about 300 dollars is gone and not even worth doing i spend about 600 on parts and sell em for 990 re ringed new bearings timing chain ect and all parts cleaned and very affordable at 990
