ketspano 8 Posted June 11, 2018 hey guys, my xf leaks on the driver's side. I've had the dash off and the cowl looks perfect, the water is dripping from the driver's side speaker, im starting to think under the window could be rusted or not sealed. Any help be great Thank you (ive sealed the back of the door hinges so water can't get through)
Valvebouncer 2,389 Posted June 11, 2018 It’s probably either rust around the window like you said or the sealant has dried out shrunken and cracked allowing water in 2 Outback Jack and deankxf reacted to this
Outback Jack 6,352 Posted June 11, 2018 The rubber on the outer of ya window is probably rooted.... usually the cause.Take door trim off... park next to someone spraying door with hose.... bingo! You'll see water running down the window.. past the seal into your door. Or if you mean dash speaker follow VBs advice above ^^^^^ Sent from my GT-S7583T using Tapatalk 1 Valvebouncer reacted to this
ketspano 8 Posted June 14, 2018 sorry for the late reply. I FOUND THE LEAK, its actually coming from the top right side of the window running down the trim and dripping down so silicon should fix it up 1 deankxf reacted to this

That way water can't get in, and pool in hidden places - potentially causing rust. 1 Outback Jack reacted to this
