Holley + Cleveland = Flooding

Recommended Posts

Just had a thought......... haven't changed the floats in this carby. Probably the cause, they get saturated with age, and act 'heavy'.
Will change them out next week, going back to bed.
Yeah that'll do it, another thought I had (yeah dangerous I know) is that if you're running 98 as many do, it doesn't atomise as well as E10 when cold. They don't formulate fuels for carbies any more so keep that one in mind. I know you'll probably cringe, but E10 is all I've run mine on and cold starts are never a problem, even with the choke-less 650 vac I had. Just 2 pumps, crank and fire, idle up for 10 seconds and drive!
