Mark Bretherton 26 Posted March 25, 2018 Trying to fit xg sway bar around au block .Lowering not a problem extending 3 mls forward is.If I cut rods that connect sway bar to lower conrol arm and overlap them and weld together it will give me approximatly 3 ml But is it legal and will it work? gerg 10,871 Posted March 25, 2018 Without being able to look at it, I'd suggest copying the idea of Commodore S-shaped links. They were introduced to (attempt to) correct a geometry problem that chewed out bushes very rapidly. You could tweak yours a tad with a little kink at each end to get the offset you need.
