Sway bar fitting

Recommended Posts

Trying to fit xg sway bar around au block .

Lowering not a problem extending 3 mls forward is.

If I cut rods that connect sway bar to lower conrol arm and overlap them and weld together it will give me approximatly 3 ml

But is it legal and will it work?

Space the sway bar itself down using some spaces, should get you out of trouble

You don't want to weld suspension components it's illegal without having an engineers certificate

Without being able to look at it, I'd suggest copying the idea of Commodore S-shaped links. They were introduced to (attempt to) correct a geometry problem that chewed out bushes very rapidly. You could tweak yours a tad with a little kink at each end to get the offset you need.
