XC accelerator cable

Hi all, the accelerator cable on my XC crossflow( stromberg carby) is stuffed and need to replace it, are XD accelerator cables the same or different?

 you could try a throttle body cable off an early ea if you cant find a xc cable

Thanks mate, i'll keep that in mind but it would be a last resort to try and make a EA cable fit.

Thanks mate, i don't live to far from GT performance but i had a quick look on their website and  they only sell V8 cables. You can get new XD 6cylinder cables on ebay and they do look the same like the one on my XC but i want to make sure it's the right one. If the XD 6cylinder cables are the same then i'll also see if i can source a good second hand one and save a bit of money.
