Did you buy it online or in store, have a link or part number mate? It's hard to find people that stock parts for anything older then afew years now

could be,the only way to find out is to take the timing cover off again, action man needs something to do so i might just strip this thing down it wont take me long ,i have plenty off time,im not happy with the puke that came out off the engine from the leak at the back i first thought it looked all good but i drained the oil this afo and i have second thoughts about that,so lets strip it down and re ring it with a kerosine rebuild,if i can find a cheap mild performance cam for it i will but it,but i aint going overboard like the current crossy i built, expenses got out off control as usual if i new how much money i was up for ,i would have done a barra, but that will be next.

Barra will get out of hand also .. depending how fast/reliable you want it..

That small plug is definitely the lifter gallery plug.  I wouldn't bother replacing it for what your doing. If you do go to the trouble ensure you peen over the block like the photo grimmy put up.  Those suckers are in the oil pressure gallery and you don't want them falling out.

On race motors I tap them and loctite in a grub screw.

Doesnt look too bad, tbh.... although those bearings look a little on the worn side.

Do you have some plastigauge, so you can see what the clearances are?
They might be ok.... for crossflow tolerances anyway. :)
