Cam identification

Recommended Posts

Gday. Do after market cams generally have some sort of identification markings. I have one here that looks like it hasn’t done many kms but I have no idea about it. It has EP 142 and C3 marked near the dizzy drive. And cwc on the other end. Only other marks on it are c1 and d1 near no 5 cylinder. It is from a iron head crossflow.

There's only one place in the world where the blanks are made, and all cam companies buy them and grind their own.

Both my crow and dynotec cams had those markings or very similar. Have a look on the back face of the last journal, sometimes they have a part number stamped there by the manufacturer.
