Slow250XC 1,513 Posted November 5, 2017 Just fyi incase you haven't taken the flange out of the headers yet, it tapers down another 1/4 to 1/2 in on the prewelded pipe 1 CHESTNUTXE reacted to this

Slow250XC 1,513 Posted November 5, 2017 im not sure what you mean by that XC can you explain a bit more thanks m8.If you undo those three flange bolts and pull out the flange, there is smaller pipe welded to the flange.Currently sitting inside your collector lolNothing a saw can't fix 2 Outback Jack and CHESTNUTXE reacted to this

CHESTNUTXE 7,299 Posted November 6, 2017 with the gasket flipped over the fit looks much better and plugs are accessable, than the way i first put it on. 1 gerg reacted to this
gerg 10,871 Posted November 6, 2017 I think it fits the OHC donk as well, as the port spacing is the sameSent from my CPH1607 using Tapatalk 1 CHESTNUTXE reacted to this
Valvebouncer 2,389 Posted November 6, 2017 That gasket is weird. I’d peg it, it would give me the shits trying to change plugs- which you will need to do often with this engine. 3 matt_lamb_160, Outback Jack and CHESTNUTXE reacted to this
CHESTNUTXE 7,299 Posted November 6, 2017 speaking of plugs i was just gunna go for the std ngk or similar 6 range heat or should i go for a
deankxf 20,266 Posted November 6, 2017 i'd be shaping that gasket to the extractor flange.. maybe clamping it to a sheet of wood and cutting the excess with an angle grinder(or binning it for one that fits) 2 CHESTNUTXE and slydog reacted to this

CHESTNUTXE 7,299 Posted November 19, 2017 he did do something like that, secret old mens buisness, but i got rid of ol.m8's oil mod and just blocked it off because the factory est dizzy cover is in the way and im over it,later down the track if i amp the motor up even more which i will,i will re wire the dizzy so the oil mod can be used,i just want to get it up and running atm with the factory igniton, then add the juicy msd and coil, the guide plates yes were cut down clevo and quite tricky to set up 1 by 1 as i had never done a solid before ,all seems good i put the engine in my xf today if you go to action mans 92 ute build. 1 Outback Jack reacted to this
