gerg 10,871 Posted June 13, 2017 750 DPs come with 73 jets, so that's a good place to start.Squirters are 31 stock but I reckon a snappy combo like yours with manual box needs 35s and a blue pump cam. Don't go green or pink unless you have the 50cc pump diaphragm.Power valve number is almost always 1/2 of your idle vacuum. So if it's a pretty hairy idle, say 8" hg, go with either 4.5 or 3.5. Your call on that one, but the ultimate aim is to use as low a number as possible without getting a flat spot coming onto load.Closed chamber heads can take some decent timing, what you're running should do OK, try dialling a bit more in and see how she goes, say 4 deg.FYI my little 302 with closed chambers runs best with timing all in at about 35 on load. That's with a 204/214 @ 0.050" hyd cam and 9.4:1 comp.Sent from my CPH1607 using Tapatalk
