XA XB XC Bonnet hinge repair, anyone done it.?

G'day Ozfalconers,  has anyone repaired their bonnet hinges with the shoulder bolts and lock nut kits.?

No but i have been considering getting some new ones from rare spares and getting them chromed. ( surprisingly)

I've done my own . Mower blade bolts are near the same shoulder bolts and come with nylocs and wave washers

Hey yeah, never thought of that..!    Brilliant. Might get a second set of hinges and try it.

Only $700 for a billet alloy set with gas strut..!
