XFGHIA747 76 Posted March 19, 2017 Thats all i want to know lads Will the standard pump feed a standard 4l bf engine?
gerg 10,871 Posted March 20, 2017 I don't see a problem, especially since 80s efi gear was over-engineered for its job. Also look at the EB-onwards Windsors, used exactly the same pump as the 6. I think the injectors on the later setups run at a little higher pressure but again it's not really going to worry the pump.
Crazy2287 1,886 Posted March 22, 2017 will supply enough juice at 43psi for 220RWHP max http://www.ozfalcon.com.au/index.php?/topic/1489-crossflow-efi-stock-fuel-pump-performance/ Stock Barra injectors are 36lb from memory? so they will outflow the pump. IMO it will work on a stock engine, But if you do any mods at all you're gonna be pushing your luck.
XPT 673 Posted March 22, 2017 I'd just be done with it and replace the stock one with a Walbro 255. They're cheap and will have lots of headroom for more future mods.
XFGHIA747 76 Posted March 28, 2017 Thanks crazy. For those figures. I wont run the stock pump then im running a egas bf motor on premo with some pipes and good exhaust would be fine to plotter around but go fuel stick she die in the ass. Will the walbro 255 fit in the xf tank?
