Sorry top control arms are different lengths, so axle housing brackets are also different. Housings must have the right arms with them if you're going to chop and change.

Watt's link arms you don't change. The EL-AU diff hat will be just right on an XF diff with lowered suspension, as Thom said.

i scored a regoed, red xf 5 speed , p/s , air co , ute on gas with a set of globes on it this arvo for $500 off the brother in law . ,,, laughing .

Changing to the later diff hat helps lower the roll center of the car it makes a big difference when you do it, at least in my xf it did, and it already had Lovells springs, billstein shocks, whiteline swaybars front and rear every single bush in the car was super pro urethane 245s on the rear and 215s on the front it handled good before I changed the diff hat but I wish I had taken it to a track for some before and after comparisons

Copped the brunt of it . Fuggn all of it . 

Doors , guards , bonnet ,boot ,roof 

Sitting in the bodyworks now awaiting a full respray this week ,,

boss gave me a loaner car ,,

Insured yes ,,

full comp with shannons . 

Should be lookn real purdy in a new white tux soon ,,

seeing as how its windows out job ,, time for the saggy headlining to be sorted ,, "win win"

bloke should not be allowed on ebay tho ,,

doing the exhaust system shopping whilst 

Its not here , going 2 1/2 inch system , have a set of hitech extractors , 

mr polson swayed me into getting a hooker muffler ,, i was going to go straight through ,,

and an oval tip . 

Just the tail pipe and the section from the headers to muffler to get made up now .

Time to track down the correct " wider" bands for these mongrel wheels too . 

 

Been busy with the new job cestnut.

have not had time to scratch me arse for 6 months 

 

been looking with admiring eyes at a few fg 2 's

mmmmmmmm

as well ,, near pulled the trigger on a neat low k blue one a few weeks ago ,,

glad to see it again ,,, in white ,,when i got back from ten yarding ,, 

moldings go on tomorrow ,as well as some fiddly spots to be adressed . 

Then the marriage of bootlid , bumpers and bonnet happens ..lights etc etc ..

next up is mr details turn ,, make it sparkle 

. Still happy with what was under everything .

sort of vindication that it was a good shell and body to start with .
