dash swap .

its been a while since i did a dash swap . & the old memory fading away . lol .

 

i am looking at taking out my xf dash & putting in a xd dash

 

the wiring is no issue to me . but i cant remember what the ins & outs are with the heater box .

SLO247 has done, or still doing it in his XDF ute.. (XF ute with XD dash n front)

so he may be able to run through the tricky bits.. on the last page he said something about it being a bit tricky.... take a look, be impressed.. and ask for the details ..
take pics if you do it.. start a new thread even, i'd consider doing it to My XG even

Use all the xd heater box vac lines on the xf heater box. Then it all plugs straight into the dash and works.

 

Same with the fan speed resistor, ac evap temp probe and heater temp cable lever etc.
