XH P/VAN 4/99 SEATS

A mate just called me and said do i want these seats,they are out of his 99 model xh panel van,they look like they have hardly been used,for some reason he swapped them out for some other type ???? can someone tell me do these seats need some sort of cover on the inside(see pictures),i suppose they would fit in my xg ute,i got them very cheap,im stoked.

The sides ,is there supposed to be something there,or does the consul cover it up ?

HE SAID there was only 700 of these made ,his was a april 99 build.

There's a plastic cover that clips on there. Same as EL GLi seats.

And I'm not sure, but I don't think they will bolt into your xg. From memory one mount will need spacers.

Yeah they won't quite fit, one spacer sounds about right.

I haven't had to do it, but I think it's the rear mounts, closest to the trans tunnel.

If it were me, I'd try and buy the whole Panelvan.

An April 99 XH panno, is the cream of the crop IMO.

 

Factory Hybrid OHC, Central Locking, Tubliner, Silver Sunraysia wheels.

As new as you'll ever get, in a Falcon panelvan.

Yes he sold the 15 x 6 wheels ,i would have got em 4 my xg but i went 15'' interceptors,the head on the engine say's 96dt.

They came up good with a clean but the upper bolster on the d/s has new material

BA seat into early Xf needed spacers but a XG maybe fine as there a later floor pan too.

 

My Xf take 3 seat sets front mount pins and bench bucket type shit.

i need to buy a drivers seat for my xg drag ute project,it already has a normal sagged seat,will ef -el-au or ba bf fit ?i mean will it bolt straight in or use the rails off the xg seat ?

EB will bolt straight in.

AU - BA need mods to make them fit.

I found the AU seats sat to high and forward for a comfortable driving position.

Low series E seats would fit. Depending on what sort of seat your looking for.

If its a drag ute maybe an aftermarket sports seat might be the go bolted to your original rails.
