Takitai 2 Posted September 20, 2016 I took my car for wheel alignment an I was told LHF has positive camber an they don't know how to do it..... If I can get an idea how I will go back to the workshop an tell them how to do it. I paid for a job not even done properly. They said u need to fix at work shop. Flipping useless. I'm not the riches guy but I get by week to week. If anybody had or has this problem. Please share.... 1 Takitai reacted to this
Mr Polson 10,214 Posted September 20, 2016 Did you take it to a tyre place? If so, first step is find somewhere that will do wheel alignments, and DON'T sell tyres. Chances are they'll be more reliable. Most suspension places are able to align your car. I believe AU onwards get shimmed out at the upper control arm to correct camber. tpak addict 1,909 Posted September 20, 2016 BA BF are the same..... They can be shimmed too on the front.... Only BA BF Turbos and V8's had adjustable rear camber....
Takitai 2 Posted September 21, 2016 So the brackets holding the upper control arm can be re drilled or better getting an adjustable one
Takitai 2 Posted September 21, 2016 I took it to a tyre shop but I think their machine was too high tech for them. Asked me for model an year of the car lol
tpak addict 1,909 Posted September 22, 2016 They obviously have no idea what they are doing... They nedd to measure the ride height front and rear before doing a wheel align on a BÀ-BF and it changes the settings its align at.... Go somewhere else..
Takitai 2 Posted September 22, 2016 Gonna go to a suspension shop. At least I know what to look for an ask if it can be fixed at cheap price. Thanks for the input guys. I learned a lot about ford suspension in one weekend. It's shit but can be fixed wit shim kit or lower it to reduce positive camber. Lowering it will be. 1 Takitai reacted to this

tpak addict 1,909 Posted September 22, 2016 Are you sure..... They all have adjustable caster tho...
SirkWhyXF 1,533 Posted September 22, 2016 Hmmm, maybe not. Now that i think about it all i'm remembering is taking it in to get a wheel alignment done and when asked if i wanted front and rear i was surprised as i've never had a car before that required a rear wheel alignment. My bad, that's prob all it was, caster adjustment.
