Callans other cars

So as a few of you know I have others brands in my ever growing stable.

Thought I'd give them a thread because I like them this week.

This unloved old pig is my current daily/bush hack. Never let's me down and I never look after it. Pretty well bog stock 5 speed FJ60 dual fuel with about 350 litres fuel capacity for that disappointing range.

And this is my project. Currently an engineered 350 chev. But I'm planning more. Already on new wheels and tyres since these pics. Had diff locks etc new rear bar set up to.

This is my first ever car. Been together 12 years now. Love it and it is reliable, fun and cheap to run. Head work, cam, 5 speed and side draught webers. With an exhaust system. Widened standard rims and bluebird ignition

Time to add a few to this thread.
First up my almost certainly stolen in europe an rebirthed here W126.
It has a late 560 AMG motor. Its incredibly quick and does pretty cool burnouts. Although its not designed for this....
So it needs a new set of Half shafts and a timing chain tensioner and a diff.
Anyway we call it the Whale. 10106afb1d2f245f670f81819231ddc4.jpg4fdea8ee259d68a5c03af327e9c46e53.jpg58bb0768d252369fa926fdbc3a386c34.jpgd049f098a43e1d3f4c80c76513061f30.jpg

So after buying a rough W126 you need to buy a really clean one. Apparently the first ever owner of this was Tony Mockbell. So i haven't achieved much with this besides removing its blocked exhaust (i think there was a sideways wig in the Cat converter)
This is only a 420. But its full house and a rare rust free one
Rust is hidden in these. Dont buy one until you know.

These really drive very different to a Ford. The minute i drove the silver one i listed the XR8 i had. Not least because the Benz was much quicker

I’m curious, what makes you think the 560 is rebirthed? Did it have a conversion from left to right?

They are beautiful cars to drive!
Well its tags say 1983. But its motor, interior, body mouldings, bumpers, rear sub frame, diff, half shafts, transmission and options list are all post 86 stuff. Its also an import from a very short list of countries due to its side repeaters.
Its been here since it would have had some actual value and had a shit respray. Its registered with the motor so i dont much care. And i think it would be very hard to identify. All w126s have numbers missing on vicroads files (VIN) i think.
