Recommended Posts

Can anyone please tell me the Differance between the EB/D 6cyl and 8cyl tacho ( other the fit and try ). I know 6 cyl xd/e redline is 4800 and the v8 5000 rpm. Is the 6 and 8 EB/D the same. Thanks for any info

Are you talking about just the clock face or internals? I think 6s were 5000, v8s were 5250. For me that wouldn't be a deal breaker if that's the only issue.

That late a model would have used different resistors in the guts to get the right calibration. There should be something like a sticker or a stamp to tell you what it is.
