fitting low manual console in t-bar auto xe

hey guys just got my new console thanks to adrian cheers mate, question is car was original t-bar high console now going to manual low console the mount bracket at the rear do i just use longer screws and do i drill and tap new holes at the front or weld a new mount in the front
