Just booked my flights then.

Arrive on Thursday morning pretty early, leave on Saturday afternoon (4:35 flight). Should be plenty of time for a cruise on Saturday. Pretty keen to hit the cans on the Friday night if anyone wants in.

If we are going down south, the Domain/Cenotaph be the best place to meet?

That's a good idea, I think we'll go with that.

There is also the Horsepower spectacular car show on down at Salamanca as well...

Worth checking out do you guys think?

I'd like to have a look.

I'm up for whatever.

Jesus, been looking at house prices in Tas. Some pretty awesome places for dirt cheap compared to Sydney. If only I can find one with like, an 8 car garage.

Just find one with a decent yard and put a big shed on it. :P

Quickly warming to the idea. Just need to get a job there first.

I'm betting that's the main reason prices are what they are.

i'm starting to believe its the retirement state.. people from mainland selling high and buying lower that don't need to work and having a few hundred thou up there sleves to holiday with

I've lived in Tassie.

Jobs are pretty hard to find unless your near Hobart or Launceston.

Houses down there are expensive now, in 2005 you could buy a decent house for under 50k.

Beautiful Island, hope you like the cold especially on the south west coast.

Some friggin awesome roads, just watch the black ice.

Jack.
