FOMOCOHO 882 Posted May 28, 2015 Good find! The other thing you could have done if you didn't find the socket was to grind the chrome off and weld a tee handle to the end of the nut. wagoon 2,429 Posted May 28, 2015 That would work on the open face spare wheel but unfortunatly there is no room to weld anything to the nut on this mag wheel. Even the long tube mag wheel sockets that have nylon on the outside to protect the wheel dont fit inside the hole to access the nuts. Love the idea with using the heat from the weld as well as it wouldnt be a problem to put a spot of weld on the end of the nut itself. That way you dont put heat into the mag wheel or the stud.
