bear351c 10,270 Posted February 23, 2015 Just wondering if there are any replacement motors for the X series window winders.?? Has anyone tried EF maybe BA or equivalent? Mine are OK, in the ZL, but a couple are a bit slow. Tried lube, graphite powder, beeswax, but still seems the motors are dragging their arse a bit. Can they be rewound? When God handed out the electrical modules for humans, I was chatting up this hot as Angel, and must have missed out. Outback Jack 6,352 Posted February 25, 2015 HBWC, your a legend. Most X series suffer from voltage drop on demand in the electrical system. The starter is a perfect example. That relay set up allows full power to the motor of ya power windows, not unlike a starter relay. Also be careful when changing bailey channels, the clark rubber one is too shallow and ends up 'clamping' on the glass causing window motors to struggle or fail.
