Mr Polson 10,214 Posted January 10, 2015 So looks like I'm going to have to fit a surge tank to my wagon now that it's EFI with a carby fuel tank. They mustve been different internally between carby and EFI. Looking for recommendations and advice on fitting one. And if it's worth upgrading the stock fuel pumps at the same time or just sticking with OEM ones. Not sure on size or style or anything really, so throw your ideas at me. Clevo120Y 815 Posted January 10, 2015 The EFI wagons had an external high pressure pump with a low pressure lift pump in the tank, you could probably setup the same thing without the need for a surge tank.
Mr Polson 10,214 Posted January 10, 2015 I'm running the stock EFI fuel pump setup, LP internal pump and HP external, issue is the EFI wagons had internal differences in the tank.

deankxf 20,232 Posted January 10, 2015 could fit an EB wagon tank or similar and get someone to sort the fuel guage out(or hook the sender to an lpg guage i think they may be same) 1 Thom reacted to this
Mr Polson 10,214 Posted January 11, 2015 Really don't wanna have to pull the tank out if I can avoid it. And would prefer to keep stock fuel gauge setup etc.
