PHASE 5 14 Posted September 23, 2014 Hi all getting car ready for club rego and 3 thing need fixing leak in pwr steering(leaking hose),washer bottle (loose wire)not working and fan switch only works on high? any ideas on fan switch ????? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
BigCav 464 Posted September 23, 2014 fan resistor block will be shot, they use different size resistors to slow the fan speed down on the first few settings but the top speed setting uses no resistor so will work fine if your resistor block is stuffed should be behind the glove box somewhere, a few screws hold it on, been years since i looked so memory is fuzzy 2 XTREME KARTS XF and PHASE 5 reacted to this Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
VDO 124 Posted September 23, 2014 It's probably not the switch. Sounds like the fan speed resistor pack is blown... pretty common. It's located in the heater box, 3 wires attached and I think one screw holds it in.
