Ute spare wheel door

Im probably being OCD again... but id like to see how other utes spare wheel doors close. I used to have a towbar but i had that removed, and with the door shut there is now about a 2 inch gap between the top of the door and the body.

 

I used to have a heavy duty towbar before the respray, so it was like a big black strip right across the back, so i'd never seen what it was supposed to look like under there. I'm guessing the hole in the middle is for a standard gooseneck towbar.

Is this how they normally sit? With that big gap across the top? Mr Polson im looking in your direction hahaha.

And yes, that hole in the middle is for a stock tow pack.

 

Also, your numberplate is too far down

Yep, its normal. As soon as you get above bumper height you don't see it.

Im trying to get the ute back to showroom condition, thats why I get a bit OCD sometimes hahaha

If you want showroom standard, your window winders need to be like this with window fully wound up.

I thought that was a no brainer... otherwise its digging into your knee when fully up or fully down.
