winton 399 Posted April 24, 2014 Can anyone tell me the weight of a ba turbo engine? My engine stand is only rated to 340kg.
P100_Ute 460 Posted April 24, 2014 Engine weights about 195 kilo. so add weight of manifolds etc.. prob 250 max? I threw one in boot of Corty (original 4cyl shocks/springs in rear) and drove 400km and you couldnt even feel the weight in the back as the 250xflow pulled like a train the whole way. 5 Outback Jack, Ando81, winton and 2 others reacted to this
gerg 10,871 Posted April 24, 2014 I'll take a stab and say about 210 kg with maniolds. Your engine stand could handle a big block. I wouldn't be game enough though. 1 winton reacted to this
