I am thinkin of selling my motor that was in my 79 xd. as the title says it a 4.1 steel head with a real 60600km on it. before i pulled it out it ran like a new car dose. the km was not played with and it has not been around the clock. i just want to no when i do end up sellin it what should i be asking for it???

I got a rebuilt and run mildly worked one for that price.

$200 max. So few kms can sometimes be worse than too many.

Unfortunatly crossflows by themselves arent worth anything. To give an example 18 months ago I sold a stock XE gl with 120,000 kms on it in above average condition for $1050, thats an entire running car. You can buy a running alloy head crossflow for well under $300 and as unfamilia said very low km engine can be a draw back.

As said mate, xflows aren't worth a lot really.

 

Even fully rebuilt, unless its in a car, they go pretty cheap.
