90XFUTE 0 Posted September 27, 2013 theres a slight reacurring hiss coming from around under the carby or forward of it, its idleing ruff and has a violent shake to it, i think its an air leak. i cant seem to find is there a common hose that stuffs up or is there an easy way to find it? any advise would be much appreciated Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Ando81 2,949 Posted September 27, 2013 There is a few different vacuum hoses from the manifold to the carb that can perish or fall off one end. If you leave the engine running and have a listen and feel around it won't take long to find the leak. The leak will be causing it to run like crap. Sometimes a bit of electrical tape wrapped around the hose can be a temporary fix until you can get the hose replaced. Good luck!
