PRO250 1,506 Posted October 31, 2014 thats 1700 with a full exhaust?seems to work good going by the power its making. proof you can use a stock manifold and weld a turbo to it
ricktewagon 39 Posted October 31, 2014 Yeah if you call a 3" with one straight through muffler that dumps at the diff a full exhaust. They also plumbed in the turbo to the manifold directly and a couple other little things as at the time I was thinking of running Methanol injection & no intercooler

matt_lamb_160 252 Posted November 20, 2014 I never posted my solution. I wanted a low mount log manifold and decided that anyone who thinks they can build a log manifold that is more free flowing than a std. manifold is kidding themselves. Cast Iron to mild steel welds done using CastCraft (55, from memory) and stainless to mild done using Weldalls. All pre-heated and cooled slowly with gas torch. 3 Mixalis, XPT and Thom reacted to this
Mixalis 266 Posted December 2, 2014 That's awesome great for a budget build Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
matt_lamb_160 252 Posted December 3, 2014 Thanks mate. Most expensive parts were the rods, and the v-band flange, but it came with the waste-gate. 2 Mixalis and XPT reacted to this
TUFE 284 Posted December 4, 2014 Any pics of it in situ? Nice welding.I played with log style years ago but changed to hi-mount.

matt_lamb_160 252 Posted December 8, 2014 Yep, that was part of the idea. Exhaust will be straighter too.
matt_lamb_160 252 Posted January 8, 2015 Some pipes/hoses still need a tidy up but here it is. 2 Thom and TUFE reacted to this
TUFE 284 Posted January 11, 2015 Looks good down low. Maybe a nice heat sheild to make it look legit and might even avoid unwanted attention
matt_lamb_160 252 Posted January 12, 2015 Yep. I intend to make one to cover the manifold. Have one under it for the engine mount.
