the other pic has  sandbarra  painted on  tailgate      do you have any info about this as i would be interested to find out more

Our canon was a bit fancier than aerostart... carbide canon using the rocks and water (think it was water, may have been white vinegar or something) ... made for a satisfying thunk and long blue flame when lit. What can I say, ol mate was well into chemistry. Think he was aiming for demolition expert as a career (no idea if he made it.. probably made meth to pay his way through college)
