insurance companies will find anything not to pay out claims. You are rigth 95% of older cars probably are illegal in some way or another. But if you have tyre blow out and you run into another car then guess what, it's probably soap time especially if you have a crapy lawyer lol

WTF - signed on the back, what good is that lol - $4k for plates, I used to buy GT's for that much lol
-
You do know if your involved in an accident and someone dies even not your fault you will be picking up soaps with a new boyfriend. Insurance won't pay either

Yeah the March Performance setup - cost $2500 - it's the complete kit with air con, power steering etc

djjase started following 393 or 408 stroker kits, 351c gas setups., Wilwood brake upgrade and and 4 others

Hi all Thinking of going a 460 BB stroked to 554 in the coupe, so looking at brakes. Was thinking of going the Wilwood upgrade like a 4 or 6 spot front and 4 spot rears for the 9" diff. Has anyone done this upgrade? is it a straight replacement or need a bit of modifications to get them on? These for the back: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WILWOOD-DYNALITE-4-SPOT-REAR-BRAKE-KIT-FORD-9in-DRILLED-BLACK-WB-140-7140-D-/161751350233?hash=item25a921bbd9:m:mWYpYTVqyg2sUNt2dYTN1yg These for the front (4 spots): http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-XY-BRAKE-KIT-FRONT-4-SPOT-DRILLED-SLOTED-XR-XD-WILWOOD-140-101072-D-DB-/321772142658?hash=item4aeb1d4042:m:mYQKeSlqb5WbX9VXBwre7Gg

These used to cost $500 a year in NSW, probably different now as that was 6 years ago: These only costed $75 a year in NSW, again about 3 years ago: And these yellow ones were $700 a year in NSW over 8 years ago:

Recommendation from tyre places for a 8.5" rim is: Minimum tyre width 225 Ideal tyre width 235, 245 Maximum tyre width 255

yeah I had to go with the new style to get mine engineered in NSW, when it was engineered in VIC it had sticker only.
-
Do you want ones that go in the compartments like doughnut tanks or just 1 long one? My ute has a 120ltr one. I had to make a cover to protect it to pass NSW Engineering

I'm umming and aaarhing about a 408 cleavland or a 460 BB stroked to 554. I thought 408 might be stretching the old 351 a bit

I'm running a full XF Ghia digital dash too, everything works, even the adjustable steering column - also put in a AU console

Yep done it a few times. Here is pic of current 351 in a XF ute, prior to changing to gas research - shows where the heater hoses are
