    Putting a dohc in my xf now. Wiring isn't looking to hard. Will fit under bonnet just need to mod one bonnet brace. 190kw factory. Set of extractors good exhaust and intake. T5 and 3.45 diff. Tune she will fly.

    Lol @ telling stories. <br /><br />Like I said, wastegate off the turbine housing is the best form of boost control and it's not that hard to do, for someone half competent anyways.

    I have seen the rip off simmons on a friends car...they look the same but have less nuts around the outer rim.

    Yes you can. I am running twin 44mm Tial wastegates on my 4L.
     
    Basically, sometimes when using 2 small a gate, it will not hold low boost.
     
    Some people also have split pulse turbos and run a gate off each bank of the manifold.
     
    And yes, 2 x 38mm wastegates will be fine, but your probably better off going with 1 big single. Easier to plumb and less messy in the engine bay.
