    Fairlane crushed velour upholstery

Thanks for the reply`s every one. I had talked with Ben at Global Trim years ago ,he searched here and the UK but no luck. I can have the Fabric dyed to match the original But it has be lighter in colour to start with and I can`t find light cream or white online. Pics look just like my Fairlane ones Burnsy
  2. Hi, Just having a wild shot here that some one might have or has a contact that could help me out! I`ve been searching for years looking for his fabric for my 82 Fairlane restoration, Its called Chamois code 'C' which is beige in colour and is a crushed velour I need this to make the new door cards match the seats. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Rear Boot lid ZK torsion bar springs

Thanks, I don`t know why I didn`t think of that.... seems to be the way to go as the lid is also heavy because of the infill panels and bog so I could pressure struts to suit I will try and find a photo of the NL mounts. Thanks for all the suggestions.
  4. Hi, I want to safely remove my rear torsion springs. when I release the arms from the 3 position adjustment lugs they go back and hit the shock mount supports and are still under a lot of tension. Not sure if anyone has tried this? My boot lid sits high at the window when closed, this is a boot lid of another car and has been fully smoothed on the underside so its probably my stuff-up ! I was hoping to remove the hinge arms cut out 5mm and reweld Thanks Burnsy
