Are there any problems with running a GT40 coil on my ZD? It still has points. Sometimes it runs rough and wants to stall. Could that be because I should have a resistor coil on it?

I have been running a GT40 coil with my standard Bosch points system, since I rebuilt the 302W engine 13 years ago. It runs smooth as glass most of the time but sometimes grumbles and runs rough. I could never figure out why. Is it because it has a GT40 instead of a GT40R???

Not sure if this is in the right section but my BF ute always fills up with water on the passenger side after a good downpour. So I went searching for water entry points and found a couple of holes in the A pillar seams (under the rubber strip) whereby a piece of wire passed straight through. See attached pic. I have sealed it with a length of duct tape and if that works, I'll run a bead of sealer along the seam for a more permanent fix...

Well, it poured down last night. And no water in the cab...

Yes, I thought it may be handy info for those who have later model Falcons as well...
