Do you need to wire in the ecu with xf wiring or it should work without?

Orr how do iwire it up to make it standalone

Cheers, I need some help on my project!!!! Au xr8 coversion into xf falcon ute was fuel injected now converted to carb.... starts good but now the btr transmission doesnt know what to do now so how do I wire in the au wiring into XF wiring how can I make this work!! Thanks
