Is the honeycomb in the cat really needed, I know your not supposed to do it but will hollowing it damage the car
-
I could get a start button like a racecar lol
-
Awesome cheers for that, i believe it's the yellor/red wire, weekend project
-
A bloke at work said he had the same problem so a mate of his ran a wire from the ignition wire to the starter motor, sort of a half hotwire to bypass the BEM, does this sound doable, also is it easier to get to the starter from the bonnet or from below, couldn't even see it from the top. Thanks heaps
-
Ha ha yeah but I like my kill switches being able to turn off so I can drive when I want, not when the car wants
-
Yeah tats what my mechanic said when it first stared playing up, is there an easier way to get it out than unbolting another thing below it with a shitload of wires hanging out of it, i could see 4 bolts probable size 14 spanner

I used to hit the dash above the stereo, maybe it needs a bit of knee action, I will give it a go next time it won't start

Tapping worked for the last 2 months but now its not, on its last legs i think
-
Found the bem, its blue, found the wire colours 2 red 2 blue, how the heck do I get to it
-
Sorry bout all the questions but I'm saving for a Bond and can't afford a mechanic after spending over a grand last week for roadworthy, repairs and rego
-
Is there only wires coming out of one side of the module or is there wires coming out both sides, sorry didn't explain very well in my last comment
-
OK cool, bypass from the firewall side or the back end of the car side of the bem
-
So if I bypass the smart lock will be not there anymore, not gonna stuff anything is it
-
Oh cool may try to bypass, what is it actually for
-
So you still think the bem?
