If your going to be running those webber carbs from the other thread then I wouldn't be worried about fuel in my Corty experience when driven quietly the 4.1 is about the same on fuel as the 2.0 Cortina for life

Well we didn't get it done but we did get close fuel system is done wiring is almost done engine is in the hole just need to plumb up the carb and water and tie up some loose ends then it will be a pool so next weekend it should be done here are some pics Dave powered Corty It's in the hole Cortina for life

Well the strip out of the old beacon has begun tell you what it didn't want to come out as the car was pretty fucking bent We had to take the gearbox and the bell off cause the car was squashed around them but all seams to be ok. Tomorrow the teardown of the new one starts with any luck should be running by tomorrow night
