Hi all, I am definitely wanting to convert my XG to a manual and T5 is probably the cheapest way. And I am by no means a mechanic, that's what the XG is for... To learn. So here come the questions... I am looking to buy a complete manual car that is cheap to convert my ute to a manual and I would just like to know what would be the best model to get so that everything fits straight in? I have been reading that some tailshafts are different and need to be changed, so I am trying to avoid purchasing much but another donor car. Also, what will need to be changed (bellhousing? Etc?)? Not really chasing anything at all, I thought that other injectors may make the engine run more smoothly (not that it isn't smooth. And I am going to get new injectors anyway, so I wanted some feedback before I acted. So thankyou! And I am located about an hour west of Brisbane, why do you ask?

I finally just took some photos of one of my injectors, but I'm not too sure of which number is the part number... So here is a photo of each number on the injectors. Could someone inform me of which one is the part number? And Crazy2287, could you please have a look for me? Cheers!

Thanks! I had a look on AerPro before posting this and thought someone else may make something for them. I will just have to make it work with the mounting of the head unit too. I'm not too sure how well it will sit into position. It will be my first head unit install too; I have only observed my dad do it before and only about 5 times.

Okay, thanks SLO247! I will probably get some AU injectors for it as the clogged one was really dirty and they will all still be a bit dirty. Only $70 anyway for the 6 and it might not feel different bit at least I will know that they are clean. I will have to replace the fuel filter as well.

Hi all, I am yet to install my JVC head unit into my XG ute for one main reason... Perfection. I am quite the perfectionist and I would like it to be aesthetically pleasing ad well as be fully functional. I have an xf fascia that will fit, but it will block access to the ash tray below, and while I could use it as a shelf (removing the ash tray), I would like to know if there are any specifically designed for the XG's. Hi all, I either need to get my injectors cleaned or go 'all out' and buy either new standard injectors or some 'better' ones. So what injectors would everyone recommend for a stock 4.0L XG engine and what needs to be done so that it maximises the output (any cpu changes)? Thanks, Harley
