I am thinkin of selling my motor that was in my 79 xd. as the title says it a 4.1 steel head with a real 60600km on it. before i pulled it out it ran like a new car dose. the km was not played with and it has not been around the clock. i just want to no when i do end up sellin it what should i be asking for it??? -
took it out yesterday and didt over heat now that all 2 fans are working. but it one hit i broke a axle and the DC water pump split in half.

Just as the title says. Au starter into clevo. i read somewhere that they fit apart from needing a little grinding off the end. is this even tru, and if so who has done it and how???

Well i put the el fans on it but one side was now working when i drove it last. fixed it now. i am using a DC water pump and controler. i will get rid of the controler and use the relay. What sive relay do i need for it???

My xd with a mild 351 has got a thing about over heating when driving in town. Out on thr hwy its fine. Its got a new alloy rad, elc water pump and a 14inch fan. Would a bigger sump help and or a oil cooler if there is one?. I am putting thumo fans off a el on it and going ti lift the back of the bonnet up a little. Is there anything else I can do?

When ever i give the van a hard ish rev or even hold it at 3000rpm to long and turn the wheel it flicks the belt every time. i have used the factory spacers on the pump and used diff sized belts to try to make it sit deeper and it still dose it. i have spun the pully by hand and it seems to be running tru. what else could be?
