My ute runs both lpg and petrol but does run better on gas as that what it was set up for. I am up in Brisbane and I went to fill gas tonight at Greenslopes and that servo had the pumps out. Ended up driving over to east Brisbane to fill up which had gas otherwise it would have to drive 15-20 mins again to another servo that has gas. Be lucky any servos in qld or northern nsw have any servos with lpg in 5 years. Reason for retiring the ute shortly for a new car this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Check fuel regulator. Had mine years ago fail and was pumping extra fuel and made it run rich and rough etc. Pulled the Vacuum line off and was damp with petrol and smell. Took fuel reg off and petrol leaked out of the vacuum end of reg. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi Sacko7 welcome to Ozfalcon. You will definitely get your answer here. NA to NC fairlane diff will fit too plus it be most likely LSD with ratio 3.27 just have to use the tailshaft from a eb falcon as it be correct length. Do you know what ratio you looking at or type of driving - cruising or street performance. The only thing at moment I can think of needing swapping is front springs to v8 (rear springs are same between 6 and 8), gearbox cross member, t-bar auto cause linkages are different between 6 and 8, exhaust system and engine mounts of course. Can a EST dizzy be converted into a TFI dizzy or both will operate the same even with a TFI module connected to a est dizzy but at different position in engine block? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Okay a 83DA crank won’t fit in as it is a different size and wouldn’t fit in a 86DA. What are the part numbers on the rear seals that you bought Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Check the block code under the intake manifold. That tell you what block you actually have incase motor has been swapped out. For a late xf it should be 86DA or 87DA. 83DA block would be rope seal and 84DA be the two piece seal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Find a ford xg ute or any e-series. Same size and fit as x-series but just yellow that’s all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Firewall end of the fuel rail. Take the vacuum line off and see if it wet with fuel or smells bad of fuel. I had one leak through the vacuum line of the fuel reg once on a xflow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Loss of power over 1500 rpm for lpg, but not unleaded
Banno replied to Dirtyxhute's topic in 4.0 OHC
Check all earths. Probably forgot to reconnect or loose. Earths play havoc on gas systems particularly relays to operate correctly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Take the sump off and use a long 10mm socket over the tube and tap it out gently. That’s what I have done in the past for real stubborn ones so I didn’t bend and break them. Not like the early days that you could whip down to the local wreckers for one anymore Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow! I have been guilty of using old ones before in engines for quick turn around and never had a issue. Maybe I been lucky. I always check that the cap is sitting correctly before torque down and tap cap and tap crank back and forth to seat though. As said maybe I am lucky them times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Take one of the bolts in they will match up correct bolt. What happen though? Over tension? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
