    Sump has to be modded to clear the crossmember/swaybar, I don't think there's anything other than that.

    You'll need EA-EL rocker gear and cam. AU is different somehow, can't quite recall how though. I do remember that AU cams/rockers won't work in an E-series head and vice versa. Still got the XG XR motor? Use the cam and rockers out of that, I think I read somewhere in this thread that the XG XR6 cam was the hottest factory cam used in the E-series/XG/XH 4.0, with the EA 3.9 cam second. Have a read of this thread, it should tell you everything you need to know

    XH V8 swap wiring

    I'm in the planning stage of swapping an EF/EL (or the equivalent Fairlane/LTD) 5.0 into my XH. It's a 7/96 XH1 GLi, if that helps. What I'm after is info on how to hook the V8 engine harness into the original 6cyl body harness. If anyone's done the swap I'd appreciate a step by step for dummies; wiring's far from being my strong suit. Cheers guys.
