Might need another 2 jet sizes if it's jetted spot-on now but otherwise will be fine Sent from my CPH1903 using Tapatalk

302s were 9.4 to start with, mine's been shaved I gather 30 off the head and at least 5 off the deck. I calculated with 20 down the hole Hypertec pistons, roughly 10:1. Sent from my CPH1903 using Tapatalk

In any case, I don't think you're going above 10:1 and you have a bigger cam than me. If running on is an issue, try a tank of E10. The ethanol content increases the burn stability way beyond the percentage that it takes up. Mine has never run-on, even when the fans didn't cut in and I pulled in the driveway with the temp in the red. I've nearly always run E10 so I reckon that's what helps the most. My comp is (I think) around the 10:1 mark Sent from my CPH1903 using Tapatalk

You're running those ported closed 2Vs right? A 2V that's been cleaned up on the deck should be between 56 and 58cc. With that inputted, I'm getting 9.47:1 with 20cc dish and 60 down the hole. Sent from my CPH1903 using Tapatalk

ohc head numbers what they mean??

The Aussie part number system is different from the Ford US. 91 is 1991 EB, 95 is 1995 EL. All bits interchange except for AU and late 97 EL hybrid (I think). So no issues as far as I can see. EAs and early EB 3.9s had the winged combustion chambers. There are threads on here that outline the differences and suggest the best combos using factory parts. Basically, AU bottom end, EF head, and EA cam. Log or banana manifolds will physically go on either. Ditto exhausts. Sent from my CPH1903 using Tapatalk

    Panko's Mk1 Escort (Round 2)

there's a guy at ABS in FTGully, was saying they proved the escorts handled better on 13" rims (rally driven) .. i noticed My gemini still sticks like glue on the 13s but tyre roll is far more noticable. i'd prefer to see some minilites as wide as can be fitted with stock arches
