    Rocker cover studs

1/4" UNC you'll need chris, mesure the thickness of the gasket and the cover to determine the length of studs/bolts you'll need

    Crossflow Pushrods

Does anyone know what the standard length is, for stock pushrods in an Alloy Head Crossflow? I've got lengths of 9.682, and 9.652... which one is correct? Also, what performance options are out there for pushrods, and are they worth it? (knowing that pushrods are kind of a safety mechanism for Crossy's)

Hehe i think ive sorted the temp thing. But i dont want to open that topic again. I think the neg post should be ok for now. I might end up fitting a larger battery to help with starting. However since tuning the carby, i havent had to jump start it once

Make sure there's still room to get the cover over the rear stud Chris.

A V8 will solve the issue of the strut tops not fitting properly LOL (sarcasm) If it was me i'll be shortening that negitive battery lead a little (so it doesnt rub on the rad support and or bonnet) and turning the terminal around abit When i last drove my XD (this winter just gone) it was running abit too cold for my liking (like 140F - 150F) So i tapped up half the grill with a piece of cardboard and 2 inch electrical tape. Looked stupid but it worked and got the temp up to 170F-180F (didnt get any pics)

    84DA CROSSFLOW BUILD

Doe's it really matter...yes it doe's is the short answer. If you use a filter top air cleaner and base no ellement it will clear with a 2" spacer and give the car best chance of using the carb combo.

Good luck with the build. Sound like some work ahead. FYI Having owed an old mike vine stage two xe, I know he had three stages to choose from. I got a stage 2 which was the below above the stage 1 twin strongberg carbies, extra heavy duty clutch and 1.1 bar boost so about 16psi. No meth but same water injection system as stage 1. Yes it had a green light that light up when water injection was running. Had a 5 litre water tank that you had to check and top up if you were on it too much. Pretty hard to remember what rwkw but at was around the 190rwkw. Brutal turbo lag but fun as hell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
