<p>
	Gidday everyone, I’m hoping someone can help ID the heads I have on my clevo? Quietly confident they’ll be 2V heads looking at port size but I’m no mechanic. They don’t have the dot 2 or dot 4 stamps in the corner that I’ve seen in some articles/YouTube vids. I’ve found the following numbers stamped on them if this helps:
</p>

<p>
	ARD0AE and 60908 cast on the outside of the head on the manifold and then 7J6 cast on the inside with a large 1 stamped on the inside. Hopefully this helps otherwise I’ll add some photos when I get them back. Reason I’m wanting to ID them is I’m looking at a new intake manifold and want to ensure it’ll work well.
</p>

<p>
	thanks in advance
</p>

<p>
	Another day another problem. I'm trying to get a new oil pan onto my 351C and the engine mounts are interfering with the flange of the sump, preventing it from fitting. Is this a case of cheap engine mounts that are incorrectly shaped or what? See these pictures, notice how the engine mounts curve inwards toward the flage. Are they supposed to look like this?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	In case you're wondering how the old oil pan fit, the flange has been damaged by the engine mounts and it was very difficult to remove.

I believe the ratio is 3.45. I have also been told to convert my gearbox from a three speed to a 4 speed for better top end revs. Can anyone advise me if this is possiobly and which box would i need and what modifications?

I gave this a crack and it's leaking worse than when I started. It's NOT leaking from the corners, just the lower sump surface.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Has anyone used this method successfully? I'm guessing I just didn't use enough high temp sealer. I have the rubbers so I can use them if I need to, but I had a wanker of a time getting them in without lowering the sump.

	There is this kit with a straight spacer:

	<img alt="9kuCheG.jpg" class="ipsImage" height="600" src="https://i.imgur.com/9kuCheG.jpg" width="611" /></p>

	Or there is this set up on what appears to be a factory original, with the offset spacer:

<p>
	Fuel line no idea there or pump. maybe a holley blue or something,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	to paint the picture i have a reasonable 351 thats been sitting forawhile, its 30 thou over flat top pistons, from memory its got a 850 holley on it, 2v close chambers etc. maybe mild 300 hp maybe less. <br />

<p>
	Hey fellas, got an XE.
</p>

<p>
	Just got a second hand set of pacemakers 2 inch with a 3/12 collector. Was sworn by the bloke they are xr-xf.
</p>

<p>
	Anyway, i was told i need to modify the dipstick for a c4 and also i need a "smaller starter motor".
</p>

<p>
	Ive had a quick look about and ive seen something called a 'remote solenoid starter motor'.
</p>

<p>
	I am after your much better knowledge than mine of whats the best way to get these to fit?
</p>

<p>
	Does anyone have any knowledge or pics of what they did? I have seen a bloke who simply bent his dipstick to fit, and seen an ad for a mini starter. but thats it.
</p>

<p>
	Cheers all.
</p>

<p>
	Ron

<p>
	Long time reader first time post.

</p>

<p>
	Looking for help/guidance on a my 351 Cleveland build for a XT Fairmont.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Car will be 4 speed toploader and 9 inch diff 3:75 ratio.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I have OEM 2V closed chamber heads that I was thinking of using.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Looking to achieve 350+ FWHP
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Is this achievable? What combos have others had success with using 2V closed chamber heads?
</p>

<p>

<p>
	Appreciate your help in advance.
